Take some ME time

How are you feeling?

Are you happy, do you feel fulfilled? Then you probably master some me time daily.

If you feel exhausted, burnt out and running thin, then maybe taking some precious me time would be great advice.

Oh, I know, it is hard, we have kids, family, job, and so many other obligations, that we forget, that our main obligation is to us.

Yes, I know, how can we think of ourselves, when there is so much to do.

Other question, how can we NOT think of ourselves first, so that we are able to help others.

I had to learn it the hard way. I was basically raising three kids on my own, while moving continents. I was spreading myself very thin, giving myself up only to end up in a burnout. You can read more about Burnout in my blog post here.

I learnt that taking some precious me time is not selfish, but very necessary to survival.

I learnt, that taking me time, makes me a better Mom.

I learnt, that taking me time, makes me a happier Mom.

I learnt, that taking me time, helps my children to become more independent.

And most of all, I learnt that taking me time, helps my children to become more aware of their needs also.

Taking me time is leading by good example.

I am not talking about 4 hrs away, I am talking of little things, set into your daily routine.

Maybe enjoy a cup of coffee/tea in peace and quiet.
